Maintaining Your Nano Protected Marine Glass
IMPORTANT - The purpose of Nano Glass Protection is to make the glass easier to clean and repel water on the surface. It seals the microscopic pits and valleys in the glass and dramatically reduces the likelihood of permanent staining if maintained in accordance with the instructions below. It is an easy-to-clean coating but still requires a small amount of effort.
STEP #1
After using the boat, rinse the glass thoroughly with fresh water to remove any traces of salt from the surface.
STEP #2
Take a microfibre cloth and wet it with tap water until it is wet (but not dripping). Rub it over the surface of the glass. A few drops of dishwashing liquid can be used to remove any stubborn marks.
STEP #3
Using the supplied drying towel, dry the glass completely. Repeat Steps 1-3 on each piece of glass.
A small blue pad has been supplied for extra scrubbing power to remove baked-on bird droppings. This pad is safe on glass but could pick up and trap debris that can scratch the glass. Before using the pad, give it a quick visual inspection to check for small stones or debris. Avoid placing this pad on the ground for this reason. Add a few drops of dishwashing liquid to increase its effectiveness.
Things To Avoid
-DO NOT use any harsh chemicals or abrasive pads (other than the supplied blue pad) as this may damage the glass and shorten the life of the coating.
-DO NOT neglect maintenance, as surface-related issues may begin to form over time.
-DO NOT allow tap water to dry on the glass as this may leave mineral deposits on the surface.
